Born in Cavasso Nuovo in 1948, Mario Lovisa left Italy for the promise of building his dream in America.
Twenty-five years later in New Orleans, Mediterranean Marble and Tile was born. To this day, Mario himself oversees the daily
operation of this family-owned business. While other Lovisa family members concentrate on the buying and selling, Mr. Lovisa
keeps a keen eye on his expert crew's painstaking installation of Mediterranean Marble and Tile's precious domestic and imported
pieces. It's this hands-on approach that allows the Lovisa family to stay abreast of constantly evolving industry styles and
trends.
